Deercroft Fall Golf League 2016

September 22nd- November 3rd
Thursday nights 4pm- 5:00pm
Members and Non Members welcome to play!
League Format
~ Two Man Teams – if you don’t have partner, we will look to pair you up
~ Round Robin- Best Ball and Chapman, Match Play, Point System
~ Each team will play six – 9 hole matches over the course of 7 weeks.
~ Matches are scored, one point for each hole won, and ½ point for
each hole halved. ~ Each match is worth 9 total points.
~ Teams may us 1 Substitute, if necessary. Teams Must registar their subs name and their handicap before League starts.
Flights
~ Teams are flighted based on the total handicap of both team
members.
~ The Four teams with lowest combined handicaps will be
in First Flight.
~ The next 4 will be in Second Flight and so on down the line.
~ We are shooting for 4 flights of 4 teams, with each team playing
twice against all of the other teams in their flight.
Handicaps
~ All matches will be played off of the low handicap in each match.
~ Interested players who don’t have a current handicap, may establish a handicap by giving Deercroft five scores they have shot in recent
rounds. Deercroft will maintain handicaps for the 7 weeks, and make adjustments if needed.
Champions Shootout:
~ The winning team in each flight will participate in the Champions’
Shootout to determine the overall champion.
~ November 3rd…..4:00 Shotgun
Fees:
~ $18/player($14 Cart plus $4 Prize Money) for each 9 hole round.
~ Members pay their normal 9 Hole rate, plus $4 for Prize Money.
~ Prize Money paid out weekly – CASH
~ Complimentary Light Hors d’oeuvres following Golf.
~ Drink Specials
Schedule:
~ Week 1- 6…Round Robin with in Flights
~ Week 7(November 3rd) – Champions Shootout for Flight winners. Non Flight winners will compete in their own event. |
